Kidz Care Worker

Job purpose 

Our mission at New River Kidz Care is to provide a quality program with developmentally appropriate learning experiences in the context of a nurturing, Bible-centered Christian environment. 

We believe that: Each child is a unique creation of God, children learn best about the world through direct exploration and hands-on discovery, and that families are a child’s first and most influential teacher. Everything we do is intended to honor God, nurture children and support families. 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited too... 

Kidz Care Worker: 

  • Meet emotional, social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs of each child 

  • Maintain cleaning/sanitation, sharing duties equally with other workers 

  • Keep all appropriate records including attendance, timesheets on Deputy and Planning Center 

  • Daily Room Set Up 

  • Monitor children interaction/maintain supervision at all times 

  • Interact/play with children through toys, coloring sheets, etc. 

  • Arrange for a substitute in the event of an absence 

  • Circulate throughout room, interacting with children at eye level as much as possible 

Qualifications 

  • Must be at least 14 years of age 

  • GED or High School diploma/current high school student 

  • Previous Classroom Experience preferred 

Working conditions 

8-12 hours per week depending on need
